Accessibility statement is committed to providing a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, inclusive of all ranges of circumstance and ability.

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. These guidelines explain how to make Web content more accessible for people with disabilities. Conformance with these guidelines will help make the web more user friendly to everyone.

Edwards Chartered Accountants Beckenham is fully conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Fully conformant means that the content on our website meets the accessibility standards defined, without any exceptions.

Exceeding our goal for WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance, we have also applied some Level AAA Success Criteria. We have ensured that there are no places within our website where written content is being displayed as an image, rather than the plain text. Any multimedia throughout our website is for decorative purposes only. This enables text-to-speech to be able to pick up all of our website's important content, and ensure that our website's content can be fully understood by those who are sight impaired.

Please be aware that, due to the dynamic nature of the website, minor issues may occasionally occur as it is updated regularly. We are continually seeking out solutions that will bring all areas of the site up to the same level of overall web accessibility.

Our website is designed to be compatible with the following (assistive) technologies:

Desktop and mobile browsers, including but not limited to: Google Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox and Internet Explorer.

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of our website. Please let us know if you encounter any accessibility barriers on Edwards Chartered Accountants Beckenham by leaving us a message on the 'Contact Us' page.

We aim to respond to feedback within 2 Business days.
